Call of Duty: Black Ops III — Treyarch / Activision
Treyarch & Activision needed 12 in-game cinematics for their best-selling franchise, Call of Duty. I helped turn the script into visually striking cinematics. Designed style frames and worked on constructing and editing cinematic sequence.
Role — Art Direction, Concept Design, Edit, Storyboard, Previz
I had extraordinary freedom in playing different roles for this project. After studying the scripts, I constructed the overall sequence editorially and composed each scene by blocking out character's position and camera movements. When the edit was fleshed out, then I developed the look for key moments.
Of all 12 in-game cinematics, I worked on 5 of them including opening sequence. I thoroughly enjoyed every single bit of the process.
